Unsurprisingly, Classically Abby thinks that people who care about women ought to be against abortion. However, just as unsurprisingly, her arguments fall flat, as I explain in a YouTube video in response to her. Like most anti-abortion activists, she frequently refers to not only fetuses, but embryos, and even blastulas, as “babies” – and frequently asserts that they are babies. However, all arguments that she attempts to make to back up that assertion are unable to withstand even the slightest scrutiny.
It is almost as though Abby does not understand what an enormous imposition it is on people with uteri to be required to carry pregnancies to term whether they want to or not. True, she gives a lip-service acknowledgement to the fact that “pregnancy can be hard” – but it would be surprising if she takes the enormity of that imposition seriously based on her sheer willingness to impose it on the basis of such poorly-backed assertions – – assertions that are backed by nothing but logical fallacy (including fallacious emotional appeal) and sometimes by actual distortions of reality.

Great!
Thank you very much. 🙂
